Our montly EP of new music is about half a month late this time. And contains different artists than usual. July was a huge period of transition for Pionear Group and was a very very hard month in so many ways. When it rains it pours held true, one awful thing after another, and our home at Pionear seemed in jeopardy as well.

But suffering has to let up, or we wouldn't know it as something to fight or avoid. And during this process of starting and stopping and working for days on something and then trashing the results, I had an idea.
Part of the heaviness everything has to it, lately, is due to the incredibly horrible actions of the United States government. I don't think i could name a single positive thing about them, only that they do harm, they divide, they threaten, they enslave, and they make sure them and their friends stay rich.

So, I will be using all those loose ends and creating an album over the next couple weeks about the cognitive dissonance required to carry on in the United States and not constantly be weighed down by that fact that this government is supposed to be beholden to us. And we are complicit to its atrocities around the world. They started in the early 1600s and have yet to cease.

The album will be a fundraiser to try to combat what the ACLU has called "these unconscionable and inhumane detention centers" on our southern border. I will make a page for the pre-order/fundraiser, here on Bandcamp, asap and will add the link here.
